Around Fužine, forest roads and walking routes lead from water towards higher ground. The official cycling map is the place to begin: routes vary from easier recreational outings to demanding mountain-bike terrain.
The official route 3 links the Bajer area, the Lepenica dam and Vrelo in a circuit described as about 7 km. It includes road sections, so it should not be treated as a traffic-free family trail. More ambitious forest routes require the right bike, fitness and navigation.
For a walk above the lake, consider the marked ascent to Preradović. Consult the official trail description, allow for the climb and wear suitable walking shoes. The photograph shows the view over Fužine from Preradović.
